End of book reflection questions

The Revealers

Begin brainstorming the answers with members of your group!

1. Ms. Hogeboom told Russell that everyone was reading the Revealer and that the atmosphere of the school was changing…”It was like a small revolution” (175). Explain what she means about the school culture and their affect on it.

2. Describe why The Revealers project was so successful with students and judges alike.

3. Russell, Elliot, and Catalina's hypothesis for their science fair project was "if bullying and harassment incidents were brought to light among the whole student body in a school then there will be a reduction in these incidents as well as them being less severe in nature"(194). Did the three main characters prove their hypothesis? Discuss. What is one way you could use technology to improve the school at AISD?

Ans1- Ms. Hogeboom means by school culture is that in their school bullying was like a culture and when Russell, Elliot and Catalina started to publish their Revealers everyone was now trying to send their stories to the Reavealers so it can be published and the bullies stop them from bullying.
Ans2- The Revealers project was so successful because many kids in Parkland Middle School were bullied and they bullies were being discovered and what they did to kids in Parkland Middle school. The judges were impressed with their project because bullying was a intresting topic and they presented it very well.
Ans3- Yes they did prove they did prove their hypothesis becuase after the bullies didnt say anything to them or didnt dare to do anything because they knew can publish the stuff they did on the revealers and the bullies can get in danger. I think the first class in AISD can improve the school.
